Abstract

This text analyzes the role played by the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God in the sense of producing reconfigurations in the current Brazilian and world public religious space. This takes place in different dimensions, but this text analyzes the production of the monumentalization of the religious, through the construction of temples and cathedrals of the faith, implanted in strategic places of different cities around the world. The result of this presence is the diversification and expansion of the religious in the public space, which is a perspective to understand both processes of secularization and adaptation to the local scenarios receiving this Church.
