Abstract

PIRES, Rui Pena. Le problème de l’intégration. Sociologia [online]. 2012, vol.24, pp.55-87. ISSN 0872-3419.

L'intégration est l'ensemble des processus de constitution d'une société par la combinaison de ses composants, qu'il s'agisse de personnes, organisations ou institutions. Dans la modernité, la question de l'intégration revêt une importance particulière en raison des processus d'individualisation et de différenciation, qui se traduisent par une augmentation de ces composants. Cet article conceptualise les processus de différenciation et l'individualisation et discute ses conséquences en termes de l’intégration sociale et systémique des sociétés modernes.
