Introduction: minor surgery focuses on a number of relatively simple surgical procedures with diagnostic or therapeutic purposes, which usually do not require hospitalization. For patient convenience, Canelas Family Health Unit implemented a minor surgery consultation, which was appointed as Tiro’lisso Project. The main objective of this study was to demonstrate the organization process and the consultation results, two years after the beginning of the activity. Materials and Methods: We conducted a retrospective study of whole surgical interventions carried out between may 2013 and April 2015, taking into account the patient sex and age, waiting time, type of lesion and clinicopathologic correlation. It was also evaluated the users satisfaction through telephone questionnaire. Results: With an average time of 17 days response, 229 interventions were performed with five cases of complications. The fibroma pendulum was the most common lesion (34,5%) followed by nevus (31,0%) and sebaceous cyst (14,8%), yielding a correlation between clinical and histological diagnosis of 71,6. Two cases were identified with malignant characteristics, both with total excision and safety margins guaranteed. The average satisfaction with the service was 9,7 on a scale of zero to ten points. Discussion: With a low rate of complications and high clinic-pathological concordance rate, the implementation of this project allowed a faster and more convenient response to the patient, bringing a high level of satisfaction with the expansion of services provided by primary health care.
