Abstract

MIGUEL, Isália et al. Retroperitoneal sarcoma. Arq Med [online]. 2011, vol.25, n.5-6, pp.180-182. ISSN 2183-2447.

CT scan is generally used for evaluate the localization, extension and eventual dissemination of the disease. Surgical resection is the standard treatment for undifferentiated pleomorfic sarcomas. Although with a known high recurrence rate, mostly hepatic and pulmonary, the benefit of adjuvant chemotherapy or radiotherapy is not proved1.

Keywords : sarcoma; retroperitoneal; undifferentiated pleomorphic; malignant fibrous histiocytoma.
