The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of the concentration and timing of application of the biostimulant on the improvement of beet cultivation. The work presents two experiments, seeking to adjust moment and dose of application. The first experiment was performed with the hybrid Kestrel®, applying five doses (0; 0.1; 0.2; 0.3 and 0.4%) in different growth stages (2nd to 3rd permanent leaf, vegetative growth and hypocotyl differentiation). The second experiment was performed aiming to reduce the applications, using the variety Early Wonder®, applying four doses (0; 0.1; 0.2 and 0.3%) in the period that the plant had 3 permanent leaves and 7 days before transplantation. Experimental design for both experiments was randomized blocks with four replications. Leaf number, leaf area, leaf length, length and diameter of tuberous root, productivity, yield and physicochemical were evaluated. The application of biostimulant influences the different stages of beet growth. Doses ranging from 0.1 to 0.3% applied in three growth stages (2nd to 3rd definitive leaf + vegetative growth + hypocotyl differentiation) improve yield characteristics (+24.87%). Application in molting phase (7 days before transplantation) with a concentration between 0.3% can be an alternative in properties without agricultural implements.
