Abstract

COLOMBARI, Lidiane F. et al. Physiological effect of systemic fungicides on agronomic parameters of carrot. Rev. de Ciências Agrárias [online]. 2015, vol.38, n.3, pp.366-371. ISSN 0871-018X.

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of systemic fungicides on agronomic parameters of carrot 'Belgrado'. Four treatments (T1: piraclostrobina; T2: piraclostrobina+metiram; T3: boscalida and T4: control (water)) were evaluated in randomized complete block design, with four replications. The products were sprayed every fifteen days, starting at 60 days after sowing (DAS), totaling three sprays during the cycle. The research was conducted in two commercial areas, the first area located in Pardinho - SP (area of high soil fertility) and the second in Botucatu-SP (area of low soil fertility). At harvesting (102 DAS), number of leaves, root and shoot length, fresh and dry weight of roots and shoot and yield were evaluated. In high soil fertility area, application of boscalida resulted in root with higher length and pyraclostrobin in higher number of leaves per plant in the end of cycle, while in the low soil fertility area the application of fungicides had no effect on the evaluated parameters.

Keywords : carboxamides; Daucus carota; strobilurins; yield.
