This paper reports a developments and recent researches of Maraging steel . The mechanical proprieties of this class of steel is very interesting for aeronautical applications  speciality for toughness and strength resistence.  The martensitic transformation allow a high density of dislocations in a CBC structure , and this dislocation, will be a preferred site for precipitation during the aging treatment. The precipitation hardening is responsible about fifty percent of total hardening in this steel grade. For this reason, the real studies are concentrates in the precipitation phenomena. New types of alloys are added to modify the precipitation effect.
