Work is a major structuring element of sociability and is a key organizing factor of life and identity of individuals. It is through the values associated to work that individuals assign meaning and interpret the experiences related to it. This study aims to analyze the values related to work of 172 subjects who are employed. Two instruments were utilized, the Socio-demographic Questionnaire and the Work Related Values Questionnaire (WRVQ). The results of this study indicate that there are differences in work related values depending on gender, age, education level, current employment status, years of work and number of people who are economically dependent of respondent. The results suggest the importance of the study and analysis of the work related values for a better understanding of psychological, social and organizational intervention in the workplace.
