The study, exploratory and descriptive, has as an aim the search of occasional stability in the course of individuals with drug addiction. The homogeneous sample consists in 10 participants with substance abuse history, porters of human immunodeficiency virus in phase of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome submitted to antiretroviruses treatment and to methadone administration. It was verified that the individuals reveal common characteristcs, namely, showed a poor speech of imaginary, a relation style lacking of affections, and have actively participated in crime activities.
