The main objective of this study is to test the "Food Game" having as a theoretical background the Elaboration Likelihood Model. It aims the primary prevention of childhood obesity of children in elementary school through attitudinal changes in high caloric meal patterns and sedentarism. Its application in two schools demonstrates positive and significant changes in children’s attitudes and behaviour intention towards food and spare-time activities. Future studies may gain with the progress of this technique, when developing assistance programs in this field for these ages or another age range.
