The on going paper argues that phenomenological-existential approach to psychotherapy has, from its historical origins, a central preoccupation with concrete existence, in opposition to abstract theorical explanations of natural scientific inspiration. The therapeutic relation, as a consequence, is never understood like a technical meeting between a specialist and his client, as inner subjectivities. It must be seen as the essential dimension of psychotherapy and thematically conceived like a specific way of existential encounter based, as ontical possibility, on the existential-ontological structure called by Heidegger as "being-in-the-world-with-others".
