This text aims to discuss questions about the research method in Psychology, from a general perspective of Qualitative Research and Phenomenological Research. The objective of this article is to discuss about the diversity of qualitative methods of psychological research, with special attention on the phenomenological method, as a compreensive method which presents significative relation with the psychological phenomenon. This article shows an outlook of qualitative methods, discussing few models, like the ethnographic model, the heuristic research, hermeneutics, grounded-theory, historical research, case-study, biographical research, and the phenomenological research.
