The development of the automobile represents one of the most remarkable marks XX century, due to the facility of transportation and to the improvement of the quality of life. In other hand, the automobile represents symbolic implication related to feelings of personal and social affirmation that are managed and acted by each one in compliance with individuality. Personality is present in all activities and relations that we establish, and driving isn’t exception. Although, the risk that is taken in driving is no more that a mirror of the individuals life, and of the way he dues with is conflicts. With the present work, we pretend to study what’s behind the predisposition to take risks. For that, it was used a Scale of Suicide Risk of Stork and a Scale of Physical Health of Barton and cols., and were recollected several social-demographic variables. We arrived to the conclusion that most of the individuals do not present high scores in Stork scale, which means that do not present elevated risk scores. In other hand, the subjects with high exponent of risk are young men’s, with few years of driving license and a great deal of kilometers traveled in year. In what concerns physical health, seams to exist a relation between this and risk, what can mean that individuals who take more risks have a lower felling of general health.
