Regarding the study of psychotic disorder, we proposed to study, psychodinamically, the evolution course of an esquizophrenic patient, under a treatment process inside of a therapeutic community, especially directed for the treatment of very disturbed patients. In this matter, we intend, especifically, to emphasize the investigation method that we applied, wich was the single case study. In consequence we defined several methodological procedures with the proposal of minimize some of the limitations of case study methodology. Finally, we made varied breaf considerations, not with the intention of being conclusive, but primarily to emphasize some of the major dimensions consequent to our research.
