The author stands that in order to study psychosomatics it is not valid to use a theoretical model supported by classic psychoanalytic concepts which remain closely associated to their source: the study of symbolic characteristics of hysterical symptoms. The assessment of Rorschach protocols obtained from allergic children allows her to consider corporal projection and reduction of differences as the main characteristics of their functioning. The author beliefs that to identify this particular kind of achievement one as to construct a different approach in order to understand Rorschach productions. She also advances a suitable contribution for a possible new methodology.
