In this paper the author characterize some psychological aspects associated to HIV/AIDS, namely for research, intervention and training, and point out that it's necessary a new health policy to promote psychologists commitment to providing services to HIV/ /AIDS populations. Presents an up-to-date literature on psychological information and issues pertinent to HIV/AIDS.
