Abstract

The importance of the interpersonal relationships in educational contexts, leads some questionning about the nature of families and schools relationships, and about its influence in the school achievements of young people. The approach of this interaction is done throught the assessement of the representations and categorization processes, elaborated by the individuals within their different social groups. We also question the development process of this interaction, namely the need of explicit recognition from the families about the school efforts involving parents and enhancing strong relationships.
