This article presents a clinical case ilustrating a psychological intervention in a Hospital, namely in the obstetrics service, from the point of view of health psychology. On the other hand, it stresses the need to adjust the psychotherapeutical intervention to an institucional model, using in effect bases and techniques of Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy.
