Abstract

SERANTES, Mª Aránzazu. The arrival of Maria Zambrano to the clearing in the forest: the path of poetic reason following the teachings of Zubiri and Ortega. Diacrítica [online]. 2012, vol.26, n.2, pp.183-192. ISSN 0807-8967.

Tis article aims to re! ect brie! y on various aspects of María Zambrano as a disciple of many great masters of Spanish thought. It is o3 en said about Zambrano who was an unorthodox Ortega´s disciple and with this little work I want to answer two fundamental questions: What is prompting Maria Zambrano to gestate her poetic reason? In what kind of knowledge were interested her teachers and intellectual contemporaries? It is well known that Zambrano belonged to the School of Madrid and also she was an active member of it. I did not get into this area because this matter is already treated by specialists as the prof. Abellán or prof. Ortega Muñoz in an introduction to her philosophy, which gave a good account about this subject. By contrast, I preferred to focus my work in the authors and thematic themes whereby she founded the poetic reason from its germ.

Keywords : María Zambrano; Claros del bosque; poetic reason; metaphysics; philosophical tradition.
