This paper deals with the impact and implications of Feminist Theory and Gender Studies in Political Philosophy. Based on the existence of a problematic relationship between feminism and political philosophy, the paper reflects on the critical contributions of Feminist Theory in particular to the Canon and to 'mainstream' Political Philosophy. It concludes proving the important contribution of feminism to the transformation of the contemporary political-philosophical debate.
